THERAPY SERVICE
Anxiety & Stress
When Your Brain Has Trouble Turning Off Anxiety can feel like racing thoughts, tension, overthinking, irritability, difficulty sleeping, constant worrying, or feeling as though something bad is about to happen.
Treatment at Phoenix focuses on both what you are thinking and what your nervous system is doing.
Through psychotherapy, regulation skills, mindfulness, and—when appropriate—neurofeedback, we help clients develop greater awareness and flexibility in responding to stress.
Preliminary EEG neurofeedback research in generalized anxiety disorder has reported improvements in anxiety measures, although larger controlled studies are still needed. (PubMed)
